Social Responsibility

We are committed to our community through various initiatives for the improvement of education for school children. In this regard, we support the improvement of school infrastructure through United Way, also increasing the quality of education via teacher training, through the ‘Augusto N. Wiese Foundation’ and full scholarships for outstanding children, as a sponsor of the ‘Da Un Chance’ [‘Give them a Chance’] Civil Association. Furthermore, we also have volunteer programs, which we have developed full of enthusiasm and strong support for the benefit of the company’s workers. Petrolera Transoceanica maintains its commitment undertaking the training of cadets through periods of work in training on board, where future officers supplement their theoretical knowledge with practical work on the company’s ships.
